UNIEF Global Trustmark

Who Can Use It

The UNIEF Global Trustmark may be used by organisations that demonstrate a commitment to responsible, transparent, and trustworthy digital commerce in line with the UNIEF Global Code of Conduct.

The Trustmark is open to a wide range of actors across the digital trade ecosystem, as long as they operate legally and uphold the principles of fair and sustainable e-commerce.

Eligible Organisations

The Trustmark may be used by:

  • E-commerce merchants (domestic or cross-border)
  • Marketplaces and digital platforms
  • Logistics and fulfilment providers
  • Payment and fintech services
  • Digital service providers supporting e-commerce (SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, customer tools)

Basic Requirements

To use the Trustmark, an organisation must:

  • Be a registered legal entity
  • Operate in good faith with transparent business information.
  • Commit to the UNIEF Global Code of Conduct
  • Renew this commitment annually.

What the Trustmark Is Not

  • It is not a legal certification and does not require audits.
  • It is a voluntary, principle-based commitment to responsible and trustworthy e-commerce.
